Get to Know Dr. Sandra Nairooz
Dr. Sandra Nairooz’s remarkable journey from Cairo, Egypt, to becoming a distinguished orthodontist in the United States is a testament to her determination and passion for orthodontics. Despite cultural hurdles, she pursued her dream of education in America, earning her dental degrees from esteemed institutions. Her artistic inclination and family medical background fostered her commitment to orthodontics, a field where she could create confident smiles and prioritize airway and whole-health-focused treatments.
With a diverse educational background, including degrees from Ain Shams University, The State University of New York at Buffalo, and a fellowship in Orthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Dr. Sandra solidified her expertise. She even practiced as a dentist for over 5 years before completing her Orthodontics residency program and earning her Master of Science in Dentistry degree at Jacksonville University. Her pursuit of mastery led her to Dr. Richard McLaughlin’s prestigious postgraduate orthodontic program. As a board-certified orthodontist, with over a decade of clinical practice, she signifies the pinnacle of dedication to excellence in her field and enjoys sharing her knowledge lecturing in dental societies and teaching to dental students.
Dr. Sandra’s vision is embodied in Solana Orthodontics. After practicing for 10 years, Dr Sandra wanted to create a practice that redefines orthodontic care. Her focus extends beyond traditional treatments, emphasizing comprehensive well-being, sleep apnea diagnosis, airway analysis, and patient education. Dedicated to enhancing lives, Dr. Sandra offers airway consultations for all ages. She aims to make orthodontic care seamless for fellow busy moms and create an experience where patients are celebrated as friends and family.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Sandra finds joy in spending time with her husband, Andrew, and their two kids, Luke and Celine, traveling, and engaging in community service. Her journey represents not only a commitment to dentistry but also a dedication to uplifting lives through personalized, compassionate care.
